Sacred Heart General hospital, Green Gardens, Cherthala was established in the year 1955 in ThannermukkomGramaPanchyath in the Cherthalataluk in Alapuzha District and it belongs to the Congregation of Assisi Sisters of Mary Immaculate. Servant of God Joseph Kandathil started this hospital for the care and treatment of the poor and backward people of this locality. He dedicated the entire Greengardens to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

MJKMCRC is a prestigious project, of Assisi Sisters of Mary Immaculate, (ASMI), for the development and creation of affordable, technologically advanced and quality oncology services to the needy, all under one roof.MJKMCRC is the first comprehensive cancer care centre in a rural setting, in Kerala diagnostic and therapeutic facilities for cancer care. RADIATION ONCOLOGY & CLICAL ONCOLOGY The department offers a variety of innovative radiation and chemotherapy treatments for patients with many types of cancer

It is the first Leprosy Assylm of the State of Kerala founded in the year 1942 by Servant of God Joseph Kandathil and managed by Assissi Sisters Of Mary Immaculate.

Working Days & Hours of Work: The Library shall be kept open from 09.00 am. to 05 p.m. on all working days. There will be no transactions on Sundays and other college holidays.
Membership: All the students and staff - Teaching and Non teaching are entitled to be members of the library with card. If any onelose the card they should pay the amount of Rs.50/- as penalty

General Rules
  • Strict decorum and discipline must be maintained in the library.
  • Members desirous of using the library resources should enter their name and time of entry in the library usage register. It is a token of acceptance of the library rules.
  • Borrowed books and other materials must be recorded in the register before leaving the library.
  • Personal belongings such as books, bags, boxes, umbrellas, etc must be left in the rack only provided in the entrance. Members are advised not to bring any valuables like jewels, cash, important documents, etc when they visit the library. The library is not responsible for any claim of loss or damage to such belongings. They may take papers to take notes from the library books.
  • Use of Mobile Phones and camera inside the library is prohibited.
  • Eating / drinking, sleeping, discussion / group study are not allowed in the library.
  • Books, journals etc. taken from the shelves are to be used with care and should be replaced in proper place before leaving the library for the smooth functioning.
  • No members shall deface the library books by marking, underlining, scribbling notes in the margins, tearing pages, tampering with any of the labels, slips or damage the documents.
  • Library equipment, fittings and furniture may not be marked, defaced, disarranged and should not place the feet on chairs or tables by the users.
  • Members are not allowed to reserve a working place in the library by leaving things on a reading tabl
  • Suggestions/Complaints are welcome from the users to the concerns in writing.
  • Any member, who infringes the rules shall be liable to lose their privilege of entry and borrowing of books from the Library and may lead to college disciplinary procedures.
  • The librarian / in charge reserves the right to suspend any member found misbehaving in the library,

The digital evaluation system is designed for evaluating answer sheets on the digital platform via images of those sheets as per the question pattern settings.

Conference Hall in College provides the right environment and ambiance for various programmes, seminars and conferences, lectures,events, faculty meetings etc.

Our seminar hall is well-equipped with advanced sound systems and projector facilities that support proper training and lectures.

we have an examination hall with a seating capacity of 100 and an attached confidential room. CCTV, mobile jammer, phone etc are also available.

The college provides Hygienic and furnished hostel facilities for girls and it is available in the campus under the supervision of nun sisters. The rules and regulations are framed to ensure that the student residing in the hostel is comfortable in a conductive environment for healthy living in a well-disciplined manner. Hostel is adequately supplied with 24 hrs water purifier, generator and water cooler. Other facilities available in the hostels are recreation room with TV and Spacious room to conduct indoor game. Warden and Assistant Warden are available in the hostels to look after the welfare of the students. Students enjoy delicious, quality and homely vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Menu is prepared by the students to satisfy the taste of all students

  1. During the period of training, students shall strictly conform the rules and regulations of the Nursing College, Hospital and Hostel to which is attached, as amended from time to time and shall be under the control of the Principal or discipline.
  2. The parents of the students should submit two copies of duly filled bio-data with photo of their visitors. Only the permitted visitors are allowed to take off the student in the absence of parents.
  3. Students are requested to wear decent dress in the college campus and in the hostel.The students, while on duty or on prescribed occasions shall wear the college uniform according to the College regulations.
  4. Students are responsible for the cleanliness and orderly appearance of their own rooms otherwise fine will be charged.
  5. Mobile phones are allowed and students can use their mobiles on prescribed day and time
  6. Students are not allowed to use electric equipment in their rooms. Iron box can be used in the special power points provided in the hostel.
  7. Sickness should be reported to the Warden then and there. If sickness occurs while on duty, it should be reported to the sister in charge / Class co-coordinator / Clinical Supervisor. Students should not keep any medicines in their room, except during illness.

We have an excellent auditoriums with adequate seating capacity. The auditorium caters to a seating capacity of 350.

We have a bus with a seating capacity of 50, traveller with seating capacity of 17and ajeep to cater to the transportation needs of faculty and students.

Our campus has one OP canteen which is open 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.

The South Indian Bank has installed ATM Machine inside the campus which provides round the clock banking services. This can be availed by the students and the staff of the college as it is located in the campus.This facility comforts both the hostlers and the day scholars in case of urgency in money matters.
